Join us in Praying for the Young Men
attending the Spring Come and See

We are preparing to take several young men to the bi-annual Come and See Weekend at St. Joseph Abbey Seminary College. The Spring Come and See is held the weekend of April 11-13. This weekend consists of young men from across the country who come together for a weekend of prayer and fraternity. Those young men attending get the opportunity to pray Liturgy of the Hours with the Seminarians, Priests, and Monks of St. Joseph Abbey, they get to attend mock classes, they get to participate in the Sacraments, and they get to enjoy fraternity with other young men who are also considering the Priesthood.

We need you to prayerfully support the young men from our Diocese who are attending the Spring Come and See. Linked below, you will find a sign-up to cover a time slot for prayer. You do not have to pray for the entirety of the hour, you simply just need to offer up some kind of prayer during the hour for the intention listed below. You are more than welcome to be present in front of the Blessed Sacrament for the prayer, however, it is not necessary that you be at a Church/Chapel. You can simply offer up a Rosary, Divine Mercy Chaplet or another prayer or devotion. Our goal is to have at least 2 people praying each hour for these young men.

Intention: For the young men from the Diocese of Lake Charles attending the Come and See, that they will be open to receive what Christ wants to give them and that they will be courageous in responding to His gift.
